Commonsense Organics Supports Organic Gardens in Schools
Gardening is a great way for children to learn where food comes from, and it’s fun too!
Commonsense Organics has a school gardening scheme in the greater Wellington region.
How does it work?
Every time a parent shops at a Commonsense Organics store, their purchase is recorded. These sales are added together and 5% is gifted back to the school or centre in the form of vouchers. These vouchers can be used to purchase organic gardening supplies from us.
If you think your school or centre qualifies for the gardening scheme, contact the manager of your local Commonsense Organics for more information.
The following schools and preschools are currently part of the scheme:
Brooklyn Primary School
Houghton Valley School
Little Earth Montessori Kindergarten
Otari School
Owhiro Bay School
Plum Garden Play Group
Raphael House School
Rudolf Steiner Early Childcare
Tawa Montessori Preschool
Te Kainganui Early Childcare Centre
Te Ra Waldorf School and Kindergarten
Wellington Rudolf Steiner Kindergarten
