A Harvest festival
The most important part of our 20th birthday celebrations is the Harvest Festival. It builds on a centuries old tradition of giving thanks for the harvest. Nowadays we need ways and rituals to give thanks for the sacred in our lives – and central to this in our business- are the growers and the land that provide us with such an abundance of good organic fruit and vegetables.

Harvest tables
We will have harvest tables set up in each of our stores. We invite you to bring in a jar of home-made preserves to add to our harvest table. At the end of the week we will give all the fruit, vegetables and preserves to local charity organisations. If you would like to donate from your garden- please bring it in on Sunday so it will be nice and fresh.
A creative challenge for the kids!
We are having a "draw the harvest" art competition for 3-13 year olds. We would love to showcase your childrens' creative genius in our store. Just draw or paint your favourite fruit, vegetable or harvest image, bring the picture into one of our four stores and grab an entry form from the counter. While you are there- guess how many chocolate ladybirds are in the jar! good luck!
Saturday 25th February
The Seedling Swap
On Sat 25th February we are having an organic seedling swap. Bring in your seedlings and swap for another persons homegrown treasure. We will start the swap off with vegetable seedlings from Common Property. This is a great way to widen your seedling selection for an exciting new crop!
On Saturday there will be face painting for the kids, and the number of ladybirds in the jar will be revealed!
