Gluten Free Product Guide
Gluten is a protein food found mainly in wheat but also in rye, barley and oats. People who are allergic or sensitive to gluten need to avoid foods that contain these and use alternative grains such as rice, corn, buckwheat, amaranth and quinoa. Millet contains very low levels of gluten and may be tolerated by some people with gluten allergies. Kamut and spelt, ancient grains related to wheat, both contain gluten although it is in a different form to the gluten in modern wheats. These grains should be avoided by coeliacs but some people who are sensitive to wheat gluten may be able to tolerate them. Test with small amounts.

This list is compiled largely from ingredients listed on packaging. If you have an extreme sensitivity to gluten you may need to contact manufacturers to check for possible residual gluten content that may not be listed. Note also that ingredients of a particular product may change without notice. We get new stock in all the time. If you find a product that is not on the list, ask one of our staff if it is gluten-free – it may just have arrived in.
