We visited Pixie and Te Kaha at their home near Ohiwa harbour in the Bay of Plenty. Pixie makes handmade raw chocolate bars and chocolate hearts. The ingredients are organic and fair trade (though the business itself doesn't have organic certification at the point). Pixie is currently exploring the possibility of using chocolate grown in the Pacific.
Pixie also runs workshops on raw food preparation and she served us up a sublime smoothie. The delicious chocolate bars are dedicated to her children Te Waireti and Te Kohatu.
